Reddish Knob Loop

Rocktown Classics
-intermediate / advanced difficulty-
Spend the day riding 3 different (smaller) loops in the George Washington National Forest. We start the day at Mud Pond Gap, then onto Narrowback Mountain and finish the day with a hot lap on Trimble Mountain. We shuttle in between each area. This is a great way to see some of the best trails in the area. Each loop is a great ride in itself, linking all three makes for an awesome full day!

North River Gorge Shuttle

A family favorite! The North River Gorge Trail winds between Lookout and Trimble Mountains, crossing the North River nine times! The relatively flat nature of North River Gorge Trail makes this our easiest tour. The focus is on HAVING FUN! We'll spend the day at a family friendly pace and work on getting you and your family comfortable on a mountain bike.

North Fork Mountain IMBA EPIC Tour

THIS TOUR IS AWESOME!!!!! The North Fork Mountain trail offers up to 25 miles of ridge top single track. Lots of rocks and flow characterize this tour. We can either ride the entire ridge via a shuttle or ride it as a loop leaving from Smoke Hole Canyon. We'll meet you in West Virginia or drive you from Harrisonburg, Va.

Spruce Knob IMBA EPIC Tour

Spruce Knob is West Virginia's highest peak at 4863ft. Experience some the most unique riding in the East. After a big mountain gravel road climb your reward is a 360 degree view of the Spruce Knob Recreation Area. Next, we'll start the gradual descent(1400') to Seneca Creek via the Huckleberry Trail. Along the way we'll ride on rocky single and double track through wind battered spruce forests and wide open high meadows that look more like Colorado than West Virginia. We can either meet you in West Virginia or drive you from Harrisonburg, Va.

Southern Traverse IMBA EPIC Tour

The IMBA Epic ride you have heard so much about! It's a big one - an early start is a must. The trail head is near the Confederate Breastworks, an army camp created to stop Union troops from Shenandoah Mountain....The backbone of the Southern Traverse is the south end of the Shenandoah Mountain Trail, a 17-mile singletrack ridge-ride. The snaking trail follows the ridge south and is an amazing melody of smooth and fast downhills and technical rock gardens. Better keep your granny gear on cause there is come climbing too!
