SM100 Film

Order the 2002 Shenandoah Mountain 100 film today. If you were at the October Shenandoah Mountain Bike Festival at Stokesville you got to see the first cut. It's now longer, better and hopefully soon to be on OLN. You can stop trying to explain what you do on the weekends and let the family sit back and watch. All of this years race - course descriptions, maps, interviews before - during - and after the race. Three cameras were rolling the entire day to capture as much of your fun as possible. View a clip of the film - and purchase it from PayPal and www.jasonberry.com for $25 includes Priority Mail Shipping.

Superbowl Ride

The Shenandoah Mountain Bike Club did it again!!! Over 100 riders at this years Superbowl ride. The trail crew leader for the weekend Mike Carpenter and Thomas Jenkins- motivated the work crews in advance of the ride. 4 trails were cleared on Friday and Saturday of snags and downfall so we would have many fun trail options for the Sunday ride.

Southern Traverse

Volunteers from the Shenandoah Mountain Bike Club and the Hot Shots fire fighting crew reworked about 1 mile of trail that was damaged in a fire over the summer. Thanks to everyone who lended a hand. The trail will be ready to go this spring.

Invitational

Nov 1-2

The craziness did happen. The Invitational Downhill and The Universal Fixed Gear Championship's. Check out the action on the Special Events page.

Classics

Mike Carpenter's failure to attend the fall Mecheooo Classic in PA bumped him from the overall BIG guy leader board. For 2003 you can expect he will attempt to rein supreme yet again. Can Richardson and Scott crush him again?? You bet then can. Stay tuned for the Classics!

Beast of the East

SMT is ready to book your group on a Beast of the East tour. Odyssey Adventure Racing created the Beast in 1999. We designed a different course for their 2002 event in the George Washington National Forest. It was a 4 day expedition style adventure race in the Shenandoah Valley. It showcased paddling the scenic Shenandoah River, hiking along Massanutten's Ridges, bike riding all over the Shenandoah Valley exploring miles of beautiful and challenging terrain before finishing at Massanutten Resort 3 days later.
